Princeton Citizen Scientists (PCS) is a group of civically engaged and politically conscious graduate students and scientists. We strongly believe in the important role that scientific literacy plays in modern democracy and are firmly committed to idea of science as a public institution. We work on issues related to science outreach, communication, and advocacy on the local, state, and national level.
We regularly participate in outreach events, organize task forces around issues of current interest, and host professional development opportunities for graduate students and postdoctoral researchers at Princeton University. We have organized teach-ins, met with legislators in DC, marched to Ban the Bomb and advised state lawmakers on solar energy policy. We need you for what comes next.
